Bond Architects, partnered with Strata Architecture + Preservation and Planning Design Studio, developed a comprehensive master plan for the Sappington Park Center.

The Park is the home of the Thomas J. Sappington House Museum, built in 1808 and thought to be the oldest surviving brick structure still in existence in St. Louis County. The home was listed on the National Register for Historic Places in 1974. The Master Plan includes strategies for maintaining the site’s relevancy and increasing visitors for the next 15 years.

An important part of this Master Plan was finding opportunities to maximize connections to the nearby Grants’ Trail Great Rivers Greenway trailhead.
